EVENTS

The Durham Down Syndrome Association offers several annual family friendly events that both members and non-members are welcome to enjoy.  Please check our EVENTS page for more information on our annual Spring Swim, Summer Picnic, Fall Pumpkin Pick, and Winter Christmas Party and Youth Dance.

We will also be offering social events catered to Youth and Adults with Down syndrome, so stay tuned!

The Durham Down Syndrome Association is proud to offer a support/play group for new families of children with Down syndrome, all the way up to age 10.  It is a great opportunity for parents to network and support each other while siblings get to meet other siblings of children with Down syndrome, and for the children with Down syndrome to meet and play with their peers!

Please check the EVENTS page for more information on all of our events, as well as other inclusive events in the community!

INFORMATION/RESOURCES

The Durham Down Syndrome Association offers an informative pamphlet for new parents, an Educators Package for schools, and resources for community members.  Please contact the DDSA by phone or email to request pamphlets and/or Educators packages, and check out our RESOURCES page for information on Down syndrome, funding, resources in the community, and interesting articles.
